From Site Work to Final Walkthrough — One Team, Every Phase

Construction Team Meeting

General Contracting

As a general contractor with in-house site development capability and a dedicated structural steel partner, StruxureWorks carries more of a project under one roof than a typical GC. That means fewer subcontractor handoffs, fewer coordination gaps, and one team accountable for the outcome from groundbreaking to final walk-through.

We've built our reputation on taking projects other contractors pass on. Our own self-development work has taken us through multi-jurisdictional permitting, wetland-crossing engineering, and state environmental review on land previously considered undevelopable — so when your project runs into something most GCs haven't dealt with before, we have.

What Our General Contracting Services Include:

  • Pre-construction planning & constructability review

  • Coordination of site development, permitting, structural steel & interior build-out under one team

  • Subcontractor procurement & management

  • Scheduling & budget control

  • On-site safety program, led under OSHA 30 certification

  • Quality control & project closeout

Site Development

Every building starts with the ground beneath it. StruxureWorks has a direct partnership of over 20+ years to perform all site development; clearing, grading, drainage, and utility coordination, as part of our general contracting scope, giving clients one team accountable for the site as well as the structure built on top of it.

Our experience extends beyond standard site work. Through our own development projects, we've navigated wetland-crossing engineering, environmental review, and site conditions many contractors have never encountered, experience we bring directly to client projects involving challenging or previously undevelopable land.

What Our Site Development Services Include:

  • Clearing, grading & earthwork

  • Drainage & stormwater management

  • Utility coordination (water, sewer, electrical)

  • Wetland & environmental review coordination

  • Concrete, paving & site infrastructure

  • Coordination with foundation & building trades

Permitting

Permitting is where many projects stall before they start and it's one of StruxureWorks' deepest areas of expertise. We manage permitting and regulatory coordination across New England and the East Coast, including multi-jurisdictional projects, entitlement processes, and state environmental review.

That expertise comes from experience most contractors don't have: navigating our own development projects through multi-jurisdictional permitting, wetland-crossing engineering, and state environmental review on land previously considered undevelopable. We bring that same regulatory fluency to every client project, working to keep permitting on schedule rather than letting it become the bottleneck that delays groundbreaking.

What Our Permitting Services Include:

  • Permit application & regulatory submission

  • Multi-jurisdictional & multi-agency coordination

  • Entitlement & zoning coordination

  • State environmental review coordination

  • Wetland & conservation commission coordination

  • Ongoing regulatory liaison through project completion

Structural Steel Erection

StruxureWorks has built strategic partnerships with leading structural steel producers, giving clients access to high-quality mill materials with reliable lead times and competitive pricing — advantages that come from relationships built over time, not one-off purchasing. On the erection side, we work through a dedicated, trusted erection partner with whom we've built a long-standing, close working relationship, holding our projects to the same standards, schedule discipline, and accountability as if the work were in-house.

We work directly with architects, engineers, and general contractors on commercial, industrial, and agricultural steel frames; whether StruxureWorks is the erector of record on a project, or self-performing the general contracting while our erection partner executes the steel scope. Either way, the same standards and safety program apply across the job.

What Our Structural Steel Services Include:

  • Sourcing through established partnerships with top structural steel producers

  • Structural steel erection for commercial, industrial & agricultural buildings, delivered through our dedicated erection partner

  • Coordination with foundation, concrete & other trades to protect schedule

  • Field verification, plumb & alignment, and connection quality control

  • On-site safety program, led under OSHA 30 certification

Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings

StruxureWorks is a certified builder for Varco Pruden and Allied Buildings, giving our clients access to better pricing, expedited production schedules, and manufacturer-backed quality that isn't available to contractors buying at retail. We manage the process end-to-end, building design, manufacturer coordination, foundation, erection, and closeout, so one team is accountable for the finished building, not just the steel package.

Pre-engineered systems suit warehouses, distribution and fulfillment space, automotive and truck-service facilities, and other industrial buildings where clear-span efficiency and shorter lead times matter. Our manufacturer relationships mean we can often move projects into production faster than clients sourcing a builder without those agreements in place.

What Our Pre-Engineered Building Services Include:

  • Certified builder for Varco Pruden & Allied Buildings — better pricing, expedited production

  • Building design & manufacturer coordination

  • Foundation & site preparation

  • Erection, delivered through our dedicated erection partner

  • Insulated panel, standing seam & trim systems

  • Doors, windows, ventilation & accessory integration

  • Project closeout & manufacturer warranty documentation

Interior Build Outs

A steel or pre-engineered shell is only the beginning of a building's value; what happens inside is what determines whether it works for the business that occupies it. StruxureWorks manages interior build-outs for the structures we erect, turning clear-span steel buildings into finished, functional space: offices, showrooms, service bays, break rooms, and specialized workspace built to the tenant's operational needs.

Because we're the same team that erected the shell, our build-out work accounts for the building's structural realities from day one, column placement, ceiling heights, utility routing, rather than working around them after the fact. That continuity shortens the path from shell to occupancy and avoids the coordination gaps that come from a shell contractor and interior contractor operating independently.

What Our Interior Build-Out Services Include:

  • Space planning & layout coordination with architects and engineers

  • Framing, drywall & finish work

  • Electrical, plumbing & HVAC coordination

  • Office, showroom & specialty workspace build-outs

  • Coordination with equipment & operational requirements specific to the tenant's business

  • Project closeout & final walkthrough

Post Frame Construction

As an authorized Lester Buildings dealer, StruxureWorks designs and builds custom post-frame structures across New England; from personal garages and vehicle storage to equestrian facilities and full agricultural buildings. Our dealer relationship with Lester gives clients access to engineered building systems, quality materials, and manufacturer-backed warranties that aren't available through a standard local builder, combined with the accountability of a single contractor handling design through final walk-through.

Post-frame construction offers a durable, cost-efficient alternative to conventional framing, well suited to a wide range of uses: homeowners storing cars, boats, and equipment; horse owners needing barns, run-in sheds, or indoor arenas; and farms needing equipment storage, livestock buildings, or hay and grain storage. Every building is engineered to the site, the use, and the owner's specifications, not built from a one-size-fits-all template.

What Our Post-Frame Construction Services Include:

  • Custom design & structural engineering

  • Lester Buildings dealer — manufacturer-backed materials, pricing & warranty

  • Residential garages & vehicle/boat storage buildings

  • Equestrian buildings — barns, run-in sheds & indoor arenas

  • Agricultural buildings — equipment storage, livestock & hay/grain storage

  • Concrete, foundation & floor systems

  • Framing, trusses & exterior finish systems

  • Lean-tos, overhangs & custom configurations

  • Project closeout & warranty documentation
